Au Pays de L'or Noir translated to English (Land of Black Gold) is one of Aguirre Schwarz solo exhibition on his series of work entitled "LSD Oil Painting". Taking his liquidated logos to the next level, he portrays petrochemical giants such as Exon, BP, Conoco, Esso, Total, Shell, etc. all come in for the same treatment. Aguirre Schwarz creates visual compositions which, amongst other things, evoke black floodtides polluting and destroying natural resources.
